With significant input from the Duchess of Devonshire, our Interior Design team were tasked with creating a new traditional yet modern café interior making better use of the reconfigured space and providing a warm embrace for the many visitors it attracts every year.

By incorporating a new snug area with comfortable seating where the kitchen was previously sited and additional feature seating to the opposite side of the room gave a completely new dimension to the space.  The relocated servery counter complete with Oak Herringbone effect and the stunning serpent and coronet crest adorning its frontage gives focus to the room and together with expertly crafted feature doors and screens which break up the space to provide subtle points of interest.

The very clever use of colour completes the finishing touch with natural timber finishes, glimpses of vibrant fabrics and intriguing hues which all combine to give a nod to the natural beauty provided by the panoramic views over the Chatsworth valley and wider estate.
